The distributors of the top 5 grossing films of 2015 are apart of the 'big six'. This means that people that have already watched films distributed by them, and have enjoyed them, are likely to see another one of their distributions.

Star Wars, Jurassic World, The Avengers and Furious 7 are all apart of a sequel. From this as an audience we can suggest that sequel's are the most popular films to watch, as people want to watch what happens next or before, Inside out, however, is not apart of a sequel. Distributors Walt Disney are known for their magical animated 'family films' and this exactly another example of one. The film was distributed by Disney close to the holiday term meaning more people are likely to go see it as they have more time to.
